Episode: Our State on a Plate Royal Show Special

Our State on a Plate heads to Broome to sample the cultural delights at the Shinju Matsuri Sunset Long Table Dinner on Cable Beach.

  • The sunset Long Table Dinner is a four-course dinner, curated by Don Hancey with all four courses taken from each of the four main cultures that reside in Broome.
  • The four main cultures represented in Broome are: Indigenous, Japanese, Chinese & Malay.
  • The Shinju Matsuri is an annual event that takes place between August 28th – September 6th, although it has come to an end to 2015, it will continue to be around for years to come.
