Bib and Tucker

Story: Bib and Tucker
Episode: 5
Presenter: Scott Bridger
Air Date: 16th July

Scott Bridger takes us into his own stretch of backyard by showing us the ins and outs of Bib and Tucker, his very own restaurant.

  • Bib and Tucker is a Fremantle eatery that prides itself on its local produce and celebrating everything Western Australia, keeping themselves inspired with the abundance of quality local produce.
  • The menu caters for the seasons, even the chilly ones, and what can be bought at its freshest, from Abholis island scallops to Fremantle Octopus and Western Rock lobster. There’s even crocodile on the menu!
  • The wood-fire is the heart of the kitchen, and their chefs cook and create dishes with seasonality in mind, adopting a 6 season menu change, following what’s best at certain times of the year and changing their dishes as nature changes, rather than the traditional European 4-seasons.
  • The next menu change is set for August, when the days get longer and greener, fresher produce hits the menu. A few collaboration dinners are coming up, from Ben-Jacob from Lagoon to Gurps Bagga from Sauna to cook exciting modern Indian cuisine.
