Stuart explores one of Fremantle’s oldest venues redone right - The Old Courthouse.
- The Old Courthouse in Fremantle was originally opened in 1899 and completely refurbished in 2021. Originally heritage listed in 2021, the building has received numerous awards for the current refurbishment.
- They are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and offer a range of spaces including our restored original courtrooms which feature 6m high ceilings. As well as the modern pavilion area which looks out across their garden that is covered with mature peppermint trees and family friendly licensed lawn area.
- The Old Courthouse offers a range of different food options from tasty comfort food, to signature rotisserie roast chickens, delicious main meals and our every popular $25 Sunday Roasts.
- This is complimented with an excellent range of beers and wines including the Old Courthouse Lager, paired with live entertainment from weekly soloists in the garden to Drag Bingo and larger tribute bands
- The Old Courthouse’s weekly specials are all up on their website every week. Some do change, but the ever popular events like full cocktail list half price on Wednesdays, Happy Hour Weekdays from 5pm and our Sunday Roast are available year round.
