  • The Perth Royal Dairy Awards honour exceptional dairy producers nationwide, highlighting the quality and variety within Australia's dairy industry.
  • Victoria Park-based cheese makers La Delizia Latticini excelled at the 2024 awards, with their Burrata earning a Gold Medal and being named Champion WA Cheese, Champion WA Bovine Cheese, and Overall Champion Cheese.
  • The company has also won Silver Medals for their Ricotta, Stracciatella, and Mozzarella products, showcasing their broad range of high-quality cheeses.
  • La Delizia Latticini, meaning "The Delicious Dairy," is known for its fresh, high-quality cheeses made daily from local milk. Domenico Boccia, a third-generation cheesemaker from Naples, Italy, founded La Delizia Latticini after moving to Australia in 2015. The business was established through a two-year journey of assembling a skilled team and partnering with local farmers.
  • La Delizia Latticini’s Burrata, their standout product, originates from Puglia, Italy. This cheese features an outer Mozzarella casing with a creamy Stracciatella filling, which is made from stretched pieces of Mozzarella in cream. The Burrata is celebrated for its exceptional quality, with fresh, local milk used in its production and daily distribution to over 300 retail and restaurant stockists.
  • The winners of the Perth Royal Food Awards 2024 will be featured at the Perth Royal Show starting on Saturday, 21 September. Visitors can experience daily cooking demonstrations at the Farm 2 Food Pavilion, with chefs preparing dishes using award-winning products like La Delizia Latticini’s Burrata. Attendees will also have the opportunity to taste recipes made with the award-winning cheese and take the recipes home to recreate the dishes themselves.
